MAGNETS ARE HERE!!!

The students' magnets have arrived!!!!
Volunteers will be distributing the envelopes containing the magnets and purchasing information to each classroom this week. All of the ordering information will be included in the envelope. Magnets are $5 each (cash preferred), and proceeds help fund our art program! :)
Orders must be returned to classroom teachers by Monday, October 25.
If you do not wish to purchase the magnet, please return the magnet and envelope to your child's teacher.

1st quarter art projects!

We have been "wild about learning art" during the 1st quarter!
For our first project, all of the Jeffries students participated in the "Wild About Learning" poster contest. Then we kicked off our magnet fundraiser by creating pet-themed artwork.

MAGNET FUNDRAISIER!!!

Jeffries will be participating in an Art to Remember program! In a few weeks, you will receive an order envelope containing a 4" x 5" preview magnet featuring your child's artwork. The magnets can be purchased for $5 each. Proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to our art department. More details about this exciting program will come home soon!

It's hard to believe that in just a few weeks we will be back to school with our new school theme, "Wild About Learning"! I hope you are as excited as I am!!! I have been busy this summer getting the art room ready & preparing new lessons for the year.

Again this year, I have a "giving tree" posted outside of the art room. Please keep this in mind while getting some good bargains on back to school supplies.
Items we ALWAYS need are...
= Baby Wipes (we do not have a sink in the artroom, so wipes are greatly needed!)

= Black fine point Sharpie markers
= Crayola Brand School Glue
